Chasity Poteat Rice
C2Life Founder/CEO
Chasity has 25 years of combined healthcare marketing and nonprofit experience. She's a community advocate and founder of the C2Life Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in August 2020 focused on addressing chronic disease and food insecurity through wholesome nutrition and lifestyle education. She's a graduate of Western Carolina University and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell. She and her husband, Charlie live in Morganton, NC. Together, they have four children, Kelsey, Alex, Olivia & Matthew.

Dr. Brian Asbill, MD
CMO | Lifestyle Medicine Physician
Brian began his cardiology practice in Asheville, NC in 2001. After realizing that procedures and medications weren't enough to truly heal his patients, he shifted his focus to lifestyle medicine. Inspired by witnessing the transformational power of a whole food, plant-based diet, Brian left his cardiology role in 2020 to help others reclaim optimal health through simple, sustainable lifestyle changes. His wife, Sarah, is also a board-certified lifestyle medicine physician. Together they've raised two sons who thrive on a plant-forward lifestyle.

Brett Wells
Operations | Behavior Design
After a 30-year international commercial operations career in diagnostics, Brett pivoted in 2022 to focus his efforts solely on his passion of helping people, and their communities, reach their true health potential. Brett is certified in human behavior design and leads our efforts at THRIVE to integrate Lifestyle Medicine principles into the strategies that allow our clients to make lasting changes in their lives. He lives in Waynesville, NC with his wife Paige and their Irish Red & White Setters. Brett and Paige have three children - Zac, Graham, and Maison.

Nicholas Gould
Creative Technologist
Nicholas leads technology development for the THRIVE program, combining his background in software engineering with a deep passion for education to craft seamless and engaging digital experiences. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Nicholas believes technology should empower meaningful learning, ensuring the THRIVE platform remains intuitive, accessible, and impactful. Outside of technology, Nicholas is a photographer who loves to travel, drawing inspiration from exploring new landscapes and cultures—an approach he brings to creating dynamic, thoughtful experiences for THRIVE participants.

Quez "Papa Plants" Little

After a diagnosis of heart disease in 2012 followed by stents and bypass surgery, Quez knew he needed a new path. Twelve years later, he's still on a mission for optimal health. Quez shares his journey and passion for lifestyle transformation, helping others make health a permanent and empowering part of their lives.

Leticia A. Nichols, ANP-C, CHWC
Nurse Practitioner | THRIVE Coach
Leticia brings over 35 years of clinical experience, now focusing on lifestyle medicine after addressing her own health challenges. Certified in Plant-based Nutrition (eCornell) and a Food for Life Instructor, she integrates her passion into both C2Life and her private practice, Healthy at Last! Leticia is dedicated to helping individuals finally achieve lasting wellness.

Dr. Laurie Robinson, MD
Lifestyle Medicine Physician | THRIVE Coach
Laurie has practiced Family Medicine for 23 years at Burke Primary Care. After participating in the FIM program, she became certified in Lifestyle Medicine, shifting her focus to helping patients embrace whole food, plant-based nutrition and other pillars of lifestyle medicine. Laurie recently started a separate Lifestyle Medicine practice and is furthering her expertise in women's health through certification with the Menopause Society. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling with her husband Tim and their three children.
